A three-year-old girl has died after being struck by a car north of Brisbane.
In a statement, Queensland Police said a Nissan Navara utility was turning right from Lynfield Dr onto Toohey St in Caboolture when it struck the child about 6.47pm on Tuesday.
The three-year-old died at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit has commenced an investigation.
A 49-year-old Caboolture woman driving the Nissan at the time is assisting police.
“Anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage from around the time of the incident is urged to contact police,” the police statement continues.
