A woman has died after falling from a building in Melbourne’s CBD onto a man, who has been hospitalised with serious upper body injuries.
A Victoria Police spokesman said it appeared the woman fell onto a man standing below a building on William St just about 11.55am on Monday.
Police found the woman, who is yet to be identified, deceased at the scene.
“The woman’s death is not being treated as suspicious,” the spokesman said.
Specialist paramedics rushed to the scene and found a man in his 30s with upper body injuries.
He was taken by ambulance to The Royal Melbourne Hospital in a serious condition
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
