Welcome to the new-look Brisbane Times quiz! Easier to play on your mobile, the new quiz features a fresh design and more interactive features. Test your knowledge with this week’s quiz, then click here to tell us what you think of the new format.

Got questions or want to know more? Scroll past the quiz to see our FAQs.

Why has the quiz changed?

Our new quiz format is faster, smoother and easier to play on your mobile. We’ve also introduced several new features. For the first time, you’ll see how other players scored in real time and be able to share your result with friends and family on Facebook, X and WhatsApp. We have more exciting updates on the horizon too. Tell us what you think about the new experience here. We’re keen to hear from you.

Although it has a new look, this is the same Brisbane Times quiz you know and love with a new set of 10 crafty questions every week.

Can I see the number of questions in the quiz?

Yes, the total number of questions is displayed next to the progress bar at the top of the quiz. The number of your current question is also shown (e.g. 3/10).

Want to keep track of your score? You can find a running tally in green at the top right of the quiz.

Can I see all the quiz questions at a glance?

No, we challenge players to complete the quiz one question at a time.

When I answer a question, there’s a percentage next to the correct and incorrect answers. Why?

Thanks for noticing! This is a new addition to the quiz. It lets you track how your score compares to other readers by showing the percentage of players who chose that particular answer. It will also help you gauge the difficulty of each question after you’ve answered.

Can I see a breakdown of my correct and incorrect answers?

Yes, once you complete the quiz, you’ll be presented with a final score and a full breakdown of your answers. This includes a detailed look at how other players answered each question, and the percentage of correct and incorrect answers.

You can also share your result on Facebook, X and WhatsApp.

Can I reset the quiz for other players on my device?

Yes, click or tap “Play Again” at the end of the results screen to reset the quiz.
