Track good 4 and rail true.
Race 1
2. So You Ready is a tough type which has been gradually working towards a second win all prep, sticking on for a long way in a country BM 58 last time. Drawn to lead again. 3. Castelle is an improving country mare rising in distance fourth-up. 1. Call Me Son has produced three mixed efforts after landing his maiden in Canberra late last year. Drew to get a handy run on speed and slight drop in trip is a plus. 5. Pro Velocity can improve after getting a mile out of her ground here a fortnight ago. 4. Playful Puzzle goes up sharply in journey after working home OK in his last two behind a couple of dominant provincial winners and is over the odds.

Race 2
1. Artie’s Magic closed off well when resuming for only his fourth start, and coming back a shade in trip here, emerges as the one to beat. 5. Flying Truffles was well supported in betting when drifting too far back on debut before running home late. Fitter now and steps up a furlong in trip. 6. Harmene is a stablemate of the former on debut behind two dominant winning trials in both wet and dry going. 2. Heta is the third of four Cavanough-trained runners accepted for the race, and shapes as a second start improver at bigger odd. 9. Show Us Ya Texts can run into the minor money second-up.
How to play it: Artie’s Magic to win.
Race 3
3. River Jordan is a Wyong-based three-year-old by Street Boss which looks ready to open his career with a bang. Bolted in the second of two home trials when cruising to the front and was strong through the line, although this is a very tricky and open sprint at set weights, with several first starters up from Sydney. 11. Vidia, a filly by Proisir in the Michael Freedman stable, is well-placed on the map resuming behind two progressive trials, the latest tracking wide early before good through the line. Has come on significantly from two fair runs against deeper provincial opposition last winter. Watch the betting on metropolitan-based 1. Dawn Rider, by Sooboog, on debut for the Ciaron Maher yard, with gear additions behind two quiet trials. Two debutant fillies, both by Ole Kirk, kick off for the Gerald Ryan and Sterling Alexiou stable. 8. Baqueira has trialled twice, while 9. Choosy is at bigger odds starts behind three trials. 7. Rubinsky has a race fitness edge fourth-up and can figure in the minor money despite drawing wide.
How to play it: River Jordan to win.
Race 4
4. Mirai San is hard fit and primed to grab a second win deep into his first full prep. Liked the way he found the line from a wide draw last start, and with a softer run here and stronger jockey back aboard, he’s well-placed. 2. Straand Care is a big threat dropping significantly in class third-up over a furlong further. 6. Josephine comes through the same race as the top selection when hitting the line second-up. 8. Yacht Girl, a stablemate of the on top selection, is clear best of the rest.
How to play it: Mirai San to win.
