Tennis star Taylor Fritz and cult figure Morgan Riddle have separated after six years together.

The adored American pair have turned heads in recent years with the fashion influencer attracting attention from TV cameras as much as the tennis player.

People Magazine first reported the news Riddle was the one who ended the relationship.

She appears to have referenced the split in her latest Instagram post where she shared a photo of herself wearing a “World’s Best Ex Girlfriend” T-shirt.

It was part of a bizarre collage of photos that showed her out at dinner with friends while another photo was taken from inside a subway train carriage.

Tennis WAG bucks Melbourne trend

One showed a pile of moving boxes with many of her fans left speculating she is moving out.

The most eyebrow-raising image showed her wearing a white T-shirt that was branded with the message: “World’s best ex-girlfriend”.

The high-profile relationship started in June, 2020, and Riddle quickly became well-known as an influencer, posting about life as a WAG on the ATP Tour.

Riddle has gone viral at tennis tournaments around the world for the simple act of watching her partner play.

Tennis fans at the Australian Open are very familiar with the 28-year-old, who has been a feature of Channel 9 broadcasts every match Fritz has played at Melbourne Park.

Her constant appearances on TV helped turn Riddle into one of the highest-profile off-court figures in the sport.

At last year’s US Open, Riddle posted pictures to her Instagram story from a suite at Arthur Ashe Stadium, showing her and fellow influencer Brittany Williams drinking Honey Deuces.

“Had to run it back to the Grey Goose suite for some honey deuces,” Riddle wrote on Instagram at the time.

That attracted some backlash from tennis fans, though Fritz quickly jumped to her defence, The New York Post reports.

“I think that he appreciates that we both have this collective goal of bringing it to a younger crowd,” Riddle told People in 2023.

“I remember when him and I first met within the first week or two, one of the first things that he told me is I just want tennis to be cooler in our generation. It’s just not.”

Certainly it’s now in doubt whether Riddle will keep tennis at the centre of her influencing career.

Neither she nor Fritz commented to People.

Fritz is dealing with a knee injury and withdrew from this week’s Madrid Open.

Riddle in January made headlines when she revealed she earned more that Fritz during the Aussie Open.

Fritz, 28, banked $475,000 by reaching the round of 16 at the first Grand Slam of the year – but that wasn’t enough to top influencer partner Morgan Riddle‘s earnings.

The American model, who has been on the cover of Vogue magazine, added over 7,000 followers to her Instagram account during the slam and raked in $500,000 according to Bild.

That is marginally more than Fritz’s $475,000 all in.

She has benefited from major sponsorship deals and has some huge partners in the fashion and cosmetics world.

Riddle also works for competitions including Wimbledon and has been involved with Formula One.
