Stephon Castle leaves his mark on NBA history books as Spurs reach West Finals
Stephon Castle over the moon on San Antonio Spurs victory.

Stephon Castle, the rookie player in the San Antonio Spurs, etched his name in NBA history books after the latest playoff game.

Facing off against the Minnesota Timberwolves, his performance stood out.

With 30+ points, 10+ rebounds, 5+ assists and 5+ three-pointers, Castle created a record.

This makes him the youngest player in NBA playoff history to achieve the feat.

Notably, the rookie, a 21-year-old, helped his team, the Spurs, to reach their first entry in the Western Conference Finals after 2017.

Over the moon by his performance, Castle, in a press conference, said, “It feels good. It’s definitely a blessing.”

He continues, “I feel like there’s somebody on our team that breaks some type of record every couple of games.”

“So, I mean, yeah, just to be a part of that is definitely a good thing.”

Aside from Castle, Victor Wembanyama has also powered the win of the Spurs by adding 19 points.

In a chat with the press, he said, “Of course we’re confident, but we need to keep the right confidence level.”

“Right now, I’m not even thinking about it. I’m just thinking about recovering.”

Now, the Spurs are set to face off against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference Finals on May 18.
