Robert Irwin demands action on women’s health amid sister’s endometriosis battle

Robert Irwin is delivering a powerful message on the importance of priortising women’s health.

For context, the 21-year-old celebrity conservationists’ sister, Bindi Irwin, 27 has been battling with endometriosis for about 13 years.

Revealing about her health, the son of late Australian conservationist Steve Irwin, told E!News: ‘She’s doing good. It’s an ongoing battle. Endometriosis is one of these things where it’s a quick fix.’

For those unfamiliar, Bindi was diagnosed with endometriosis two years ago and has undergone multiple surgeries.  ‘It is something that needs to be in the forefront of discussions.’

Robert added. ‘Women’s health throughout the history-is just under researched. We really need advocates to stand up and to get the word out there, men and women.’

This comes after the wildlife warrior spoke about teaming up with the Prince of Wales on environmental efforts, calling it ‘an incredible synergy.’

In 2024, Robert was named a Global Ambassador for Prince William’s Earthshot Prize.

He has not only championed the project publicly but also attended its Singapore ceremony and continues to push its mission worldwide.

It also follows the news that Robert has been revealed as the first contestant on the upcoming season of Dancing With The Stars US.

Interestingly, his sister Bindi won the show in 2015 alongside her dancing partner Derek Hough.
