Jimmy Kimmel’s first show after suspension features Robert De Niro as surprise guest

Jimmy Kimmel’s first show after suspension featured a surprise guest who made sure to help the TV host make his reappearance remarkable.

For the unversed, Kimmel was adjourned from his late-night show on September 17 following his oblivious remarks on late Charlie Kirk.

On September 23, Jimmy Kimmel Live returned to television with a surprise cameo made by legendary star Robert De Niro.

The Zero Day actor made his presence pretending to be the new Chairman of President Donald Trump’s Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

Jimmy, after making a tearful speech on his show, informed the audience that FCC chairman Brendan Carr, who threatened ABC and Disney last week, will be joining us in the show.

Instead, it was Robert appearing as the new FCC chairman, briefing on the meaning of free speech.

The Intern actor, in the show, was seen jokingly threatening The View’s Whoopi Goldberg, whose fellow ABC talk show stayed silent over Kimmel’s suspension.

“So you tell Whoopi over there, she better show a little respect, or the only view she’s getting is from under George Washington. The bridge, not the guy.”

When Kimmel asked if we heard you threatening Mr. Goldstein. To which he replied, “I would never threaten Miss Goldstein. I was just teaching a lesson about consequences.”

The 57-year-old the continued, “Pardon me for saying, and maybe you’re the wrong guy to talk to, but it seems like the FCC is using mob tactics to suppress free speech.”

The 82-year-old responded, “What the f*** did you just say to me? I am the f****** FCC. I can f****** say whatever the f*** I want.”

“Look. It’s just me, Jimmy, the chairman of the FCC, gently suggesting that you gently shut the f*** up.”

Jimmy Kimmel Live! returned to TV on September 23.
