Selections based on a good track

Race 1

2. Aerial Artist had two starts at Murwillumbah and the Gold Coast last October and November without success but has since joined a new stable. He won a trial at Beaudesert and ran a close-up fourth in the latest of them at the Gold Coast. A forward showing is in the cards fresh here. 3. Cerano Magic debuted after a number of trials with a third at Port Macquarie and can show up again here. 5. Kissavos ran second in the same race Cerano Magic contested last time out and should be thereabouts with a repeat. 1. Comme Ci Comme Ca was a last start second at Port Macquarie at his first start for a new stable and can be placed again.
How to play it: Aerial Artist EACH WAY.

Racing heads to Grafton on Tuesday.Jenny Evans

Race 2

10. Elegant Force has only had seven starts and has finished third in two of them. They have been in each of her last two starts at this track and the Gold Coast. She gets her chance to break through here. 7. Literature Tycoon ran second at Armidale two stars ago and can improve on the latest effort at the same track. 8. Some Girls has been midfield in recent runs and wasn’t disgraced here when last produced. 3. Righteous Brother has been placed in his latest two starts and shouldn’t be taken lightly.
How to play it: Elegant Force WIN.

Race 3

2. Archie Maximus has had the six stars and has been thereabouts with two seconds and two thirds. He’s been placed in both runs since resuming and looks perfectly poised to break through here. 4. Amazigh Torque debuted with a third at this track last month when performing well after being well backed and should be thereabouts again. 6. Wild Monarch wasn’t beaten far at his first start when third at this track. He looks set to run well again. 1. Aeternus Bellator resumes after a lengthy spell on the back of a solid trial and is worth thought.
How to play it: Archie Maximus WIN.

Race 4

2. Alleze won on debut at Murwillumbah in a four-horse field and was then spelled. He’s had two trials leading into this resuming run and should be in the firing line again. 4. Highland Force did the job well when scoring a debut victory at Coffs Harbour and looks hardest to beat. 7. Deebee’s Girl is consistent and had solid form before being spelled. 11. Homeland has some talent and can be in the finish from the good barrier.
How to play it: Alleze WIN.

Race 5

7. Slugworth has been placed on each of his last two starts at Ipswich and only needs to run up to those efforts to be hard to hold out here. 8. Sonder followed a couple of second placings with a last start fourth at Armidale and should be prominent. 4. O’Caldino followed a second at Ballina with a last start fourth at the Sunshine Coast and is a leading contender here. 3. Mortlake ran a solid second at Port Macquarie last time out and can give cheek again on the back of some solid recent form.
How to play it: Slugworth WIN.

Race 6

6. Patrioticintention ran well when scoring a strong win at Port Macquarie when leading throughout. He steps up in distance here and ran well over the same trip at Coffs Harbour three runs ago. 1. Prince Of Prophets scored a runaway win at Coffs Harbour when last produced and warrants a lot of thought again. 2. Monarch Express has disappointed in his latest two starts but can improve into this if anywhere near best form again. 5. Jukebox In Siberia has been tackling city grade races at Doomben of late and will find this more suitable.
How to play it: Patriotintention EACH WAY.

Race 7

9. Queen Of Tayrona was back to near her best when narrowly beaten into second at this track when last seen. She can show up again here from the good draw. 8. Alabama Girl powered home to win at Port Macquarie before a last start second at the Gold Coast and she warrants respect again. 5. Amarone held on well for a last start Port Macquarie third and should be considered, while 4. Montgomery bobs up every now and then and can run a good race at big odds from the good gate.
How to play it: Queen Of Tayrona WIN.

Race 8

5. Pixie Hallow did the job well to go forward and lead throughout to score a solid win at this track two starts ago. He was since down the track at Taree but has drawn the inside here and can bounce back. 4. Decisive Lass hasn’t been far away of late and only needs to maintain that form to be hard to hold out. 1. The Wolf scored a good win at last August after a couple sound runs before that. He failed at Coffs Harbour and was then spelled and resumes here. 11. Jewels Statement was a winner here three starts ago and resumed with a second at Taree early last month. A repeat of that form would be good enough to run another bold race in this.
How to play it: Pixie Hallow EACH WAY.
