Warwick Farm horseman Joseph Pride is poised to continue his winning form from Randwick on Saturday when he sends two runners to Kembla Grange on Tuesday.

Pride enjoyed success in the Group 3 Triscay Stakes at the weekend when Weeping Woman led throughout with Tim Clark in the saddle. He is out to carry on the momentum at Kembla Grange, starting with lightly raced mare My Proclama, which lines up in the Welcome ITC Director Morgan Bryant 4YO&Up Maiden Plate (1000m).

“She’s a five-year-old mare that has only had the four starts and she’s yet to miss a place,” Pride said of My Proclama.

“She was favourite in her first start on the Acton track at Canberra and ran third in that race, albeit beaten a decent margin, but she had three runs after that in provincial grade and she ran very well in each of those starts.

“She led them up at Newcastle in her latest start in October and took plenty of running down there when finishing second. She’s won a trial in readiness for Tuesday.”

Pride has engaged Andrew Adkins to ride My Proclama, and the jockey will also partner stablemate Nothing Finer in The Man Walk Australia Maiden Plate (1300m).

Nothing Finer was unplaced in two starts last September and was then spelled. Pride gave the gelding two quiet trials before he resumed on the Beaumont track at Newcastle.

“He was first-up the other day and ran home well to get into third placing there at Newcastle on the Beaumont,” Pride said.

“It was an encouraging run in that event and he’s up against a couple of Chris Waller’s again that he met in that race.
