Reports say the 58-year-old actress has spent the last two years focusing on rebuilding her Hollywood image through multiple high-profile projects, including Netflix documentary Pamela, A Love Story and the Broadway revival of Chicago.
Sources told media outlets that Anderson is now “making room for love” again after spending years focused on her career comeback.
Another insider claimed Cruise, 63, became interested in Anderson after watching her performance in The Last Showgirl. Reports also say the two have stayed in contact since then and that people around them have noticed a possible connection.
One source called the situation as having “definitely a spark,” though neither Anderson nor Cruise has publicly commented on the rumours.
