The NRL has confirmed the Melbourne Storm, Wests Tigers, Parramatta Eels and Gold Coast Titans will head to Las Vegas in 2027 for the fourth edition of rugby league’s American extravaganza on Sunday, February 28 AEDT.

Much like in 2026, next year will feature another triple header in Las Vegas, with the NRL also announcing that English Super League sides Bradford Bulls and Leigh Leopards will face off.

It means the Dolphins are the unlucky team, as the only existing club yet to feature in the season opener in Las Vegas.

It could be argued that the Dolphins missing out is only fair, given that they are the last franchise to enter the NRL’s current 17-team competition.

However, given the NRL’s deal with Las Vegas Tourism runs until at least 2028, it is expected fans won’t have to wait too much longer as they will almost certainly head to Sin City in 2028.

They could even potentially be matched up alongside the Perth Bears, who will officially enter the NRL competition in 2027.

The NRL released a statement confirming the four teams on Wednesday morning.

“The National Rugby League (NRL) has confirmed Parramatta Eels will face Gold Coast Titans, while Melbourne Storm will clash with Wests Tigers at Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas, on Saturday, February 27 (Sunday, February 28 in Australia),” the NRL said in a statement.

“The NRL also announced that English Super League clubs Bradford Bulls and Leigh Leopards will be part of the Vegas extravaganza in 2027.

“Further information on match scheduling and broadcast will be announced at a later date.

“The NRL has officially launched special travel packages featuring direct charter flights travelling from three Australian states.

“Four direct NRL charter flights — two from Sydney and one each from Brisbane and Melbourne — will fly directly to Las Vegas, each themed to participating clubs.”
