NRLW star Jaime Chapman has been subject to disgusting abuse after making her broadcast debut for Channel 9.

The 24-year-old swapped her boots for a mic at Magic Round, quizzing fans on who they fancy for State of Origin as well as providing analysis on matches.

Watch every game of every round of the NRL Premiership LIVE with no ad-breaks during play on FOX LEAGUE, available on Kayo Sports | New to Kayo? Join now and get your first month for just $1.

Chapman impressed on her debut and appeared to be a natural on camera.

Yet trolls decided to attack her with many misogynistic comments aimed at Chapman appearing on social media.

“Well she offers nothing intellectually. That’s why the woman wear ear pieces. A man is in the ear piece telling them what to say,” one vile comment read.

Another added: “I wasn’t listening to what she said. But she sounded great! Personally would prefer if she conducted the broadcast in a bikini given her latest Instagram pic. Would be great for viewership. Specifically mine and any other straight man on the planet.”

A third wrote: “I wonder why the Hammer dumped her.”

'Like a gazelle': Jaime Chapman scores Origin stunner

The latter was a remark about Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow, whom Chapman broke up with in November.

Since then she has primarily focused on her footy career at the Gold Coast Titans, where she has made 13 appearances.

She was also in State of Origin action for NSW this month, playing in her tenth game for the Blues.

Chapman helped the Blues to a series win after starting both games so far, and scoring a try in the second.

But it appears she also has a bright future away from the pitch.

She is often seen on TV shows or heard on podcasts, and earlier this year she appeared on SEN’s The Run Home With Joel and Fletch.
