Nina Dobrev’s recent social media activity has been stirring up speculation about her relationship with Shaun White.
Just days before news of their breakup, Dobrev shared a TikTok video that seemed to hint at relationship troubles.
In the video, Dobrev lip-synced to sassy audio about other women trying to “fix” a man. “How do you sleep at night knowing people don’t like you?” she mouthed along to the track. “With no underwear, in case they wanna kiss my a**.”
She continued, “What’s your advice for women trying to fix their man? Listen, Bob the Builder, he’s got 10 other women trying to fix him too, and you all look like a damn construction crew.”
The news of Dobrev and White’s breakup came as a surprise to some, given their recent social media activity. Just a few days before the breakup news, Dobrev shared a photo carousel documenting her summer, including a photo of the two in bed together.
“Summer doesn’t officially end,” she wrote on Instagram, “until September 22nd FYI.”
Dobrev and White got engaged in 2024 with a 5-carat diamond ring. However, Dobrev was spotted without the ring at the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of Eternity on September 7.
This sparked rumours about their relationship, which were later confirmed by sources close to the couple.
In a recent interview with E! News, Dobrev spoke about enjoying her time as a fiancée. “I really want to enjoy it and not rush that process,” she said.
“We’re just enjoying being engaged at this point, and being in that sort of phase because a lot of your life is—you have a boyfriend for half of your life and then you have a husband for half of your life.”
She added, “But the fiancé period is very short.”
