Nicole Kidman is reportedly facing the wrath of her Big Little Lies co-star Alexander Skarsgard after a stark accusation.

For those unaware, Kidman appeared on the Las Culturistas podcast last month, where she revealed that she hates bad breath and had to ask Skarsgard to stop eating falafel before filming an intimate scene on the set of Big Little Lies.

She said, “I cannot stand bad breath. This is a deal-breaker for me. You could be the most gorgeous, gorgeous guy, and if you came at me with bad breath, I’m like, no. If I say, ‘Breath on me,’ and I have to recoil, yikes, I’m out. You could not offer me enough money.”

An insider told Radar Online that as soon as the episode was released and the Oscar-winning actress’ statement shocked the world, Alex was also “pretty stunned when he heard what Nicole said about him.”

“He always thought they had a great working relationship, so for her to tell this embarrassing tidbit about him in an interview just to get a laugh is a real knife in the back,” added the source.

They also noted that many people might think that he is “overreacting, but it’s no exaggeration to say he feels betrayed.”

“He knows the internet never forgets, so he’s got every reason to worry that he’ll never shake this. He’s a confident guy, but he’s also very private and the last thing he wants is people dissecting something so personal about him,” concluded the source.

It is pertinent to mention that HBO hit series Big Little Lies starred Nicole Kidman and Alexander Skarsgard as husband and wife, Celeste Wright and Perry Wright, respectively.
