More than a dozen people have been charged after riots broke out in an outback town mourning the loss of a little girl.
A further 13 people have been arrested following ugly scenes across Alice Springs last Thursday night.
Riotous behaviour and looting took place across the remote outback town on Thursday night, sparked by the arrest of Jefferson Lewis, accused of murdering five-year-old Kumanjayi Little Baby.
Police allege Mr Lewis was hunted down by vigilantes and severely beaten before being taken to hospital under police guard.
Furious crowds of about 400 people surrounded the hospital, setting a police car on fire, while hordes of others were captured on CCTV footage looting and damaging property at a Shell Express service station and Piggly’s Supermarket.
The service station and supermarket allegedly sustained about $80,000 in damages and an estimated $105,000 in property lost on the night.
On Sunday, Northern Territory Police arrested men and women and one teenager in relation to the alleged lootings.
Five women, aged between 24 and 48, were charged with aggravated burglary, theft and breach of suspended sentence.
Among the women, a 24-year-old and 26-year-old faced two counts of each offence.
Two men, aged 20 and 44, were both charged with one count each of aggravated burglary and theft.
A 17-year-old boy was also charged with the same offences.
A 26-year-old man was charged with one count each of aggravated burglary, theft and breach of suspended sentence.
A 32-year-old was additionally charged with two counts each of aggravated burglary and theft and one count of breach of a suspended sentence.
Also allegedly involved in the offending, a 29-year-old man was charged with two counts of aggravated burglary and theft and one count each of damage of property, attempt arson and armed with an offensive weapon at night.
Another man, aged 36, was charged with unlawfully causing serious harm, aggravated assault and breaching a domestic violence order.
A 49-year-old man was charged with breaching bail and breaching a suspended sentence.
Police advised there would likely be more arrests in coming days as they continued to identify alleged offenders through security camera footage.
Earlier this weekend, five people were arrested and charged regarding the alleged riots.
Kumanjayi Little Baby was reported missing from her home at Old Timers Camp on the outskirts of Alice Springs on April 25.
Police searched the area of her disappearance extensively, finding her body only 5km south of her home last Thursday morning.
Mr Lewis has been charged with her murder.
