A man is in a serious condition following an attack in broad daylight on a busy Melbourne street.
Emergency services responded to a man with serious injuries on Collins St near the intersection of Elizabeth St about 2.10pm.
The 37-year-old Mill Park man was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a serious condition with upper body injuries.
A Victoria Police spokeswoman said it is yet to be determined how the man sustained the injuries as investigations are ongoing.
