Martin Lawrence’s daughter, Jasmin Lawrence has revealed the name of the baby she is expecting with Eddie Murphy’s son, Eric Murphy, and fans are already admiring them.
The 30-year-old shared the update on her Instagram Stories, confirming the couple are expecting a baby girl. In a sweet video clip, Jasmin gently rubbed her stomach while announcing the little one’s name.
“Ari Skye.” she revealed her little girl’s name.
She added, “Mommy loves you so much… my baby Ari Sky Murphy”
As fans already know that Jasmin and Eric tied the knot in May 2025. The couple revealed their pregnancy on February 2, 2026, with a romantic black-and-white photo.
In the photo, Jasmin wore an off-the-shoulder dress that highlighted her growing bump while Eric rested his head on her stomach and smiled toward the camera.
In a joint caption online, they showed their gratitude and addressed their little one as ” the greatest gift.”
“Thank you Jesus for the greatest gift.” they wrote.
For those unversed, the couple had quietly married in an intimate church ceremony last year.
Eddie confirmed that his son had tied the knot with Martin Lawrence’s daughter. The actor broke the news during an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show.
He shared that the pair decided to skip a massive wedding celebration and preferred to keep the news confidential.
“They went off, everybody was making the big wedding plans, and then they decided they wanted to do something quiet with just the two of them.” the comedian added.
The comedy legend also joked that his longtime friend Martin wouldn’t have to worry about wedding expenses.
“We’re in-laws,” Eddie joked.
