James Van Der Beek’s family received strong financial help from actor’s fans
Friends & fans pour money into James Van Der Beek’s family’s GoFundMe page to reach $1 million

James Van Der Beek left his friends and fans in grief since his death, but his family is reportedly in financial hardship.

This is due to a perilous cancer battle he had, which put a strain on his family’s financial situation, which consists of his wife, Kimberly Van Der Beek, and six kids.

However, the late actor’s supporters began a GoFundMe campaign to help them.

“In the wake of this loss, Kimberly and the children are facing an uncertain future. The costs of James’s medical care and the extended fight against cancer have left the family out of funds,” the message says.

“They are working hard to stay in their home and to ensure the children can continue their education and maintain some stability during this incredibly difficult time. The support of friends, family, and the wider community will make a world of difference as they navigate the road ahead.”

The money raised “will help cover essential living expenses, pay bills, and support the children’s education,” the page continued.

“Every donation, no matter the size, will help Kimberly and her family find hope and security as they rebuild their lives. Thank you for considering a gift to support them.”

Initially, the target was set at the modest $250,000, but soon the aid arrived in swarms, surging the total figure to $1 million. The goal has now been revised to $1.3 million.

Beek passed away after he was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in 2023.
