Hugh Jackman, Sutton Foster’s life planning takes a backseat as Deborra-lee Furness continues to stir the pot

Hugh Jackman’s ex-wife Deborra-lee Furness is said to be making life very hard for him and Sutton Foster. So much so that its just dropped that frustrations are high.

A well placed source spoke to Woman’s Day and spoke about the issues bubbling behind the surface because of Deborra-lee Furness.

According to the insider, “Hugh’s becoming increasingly angry that more and more people in Hollywood are quietly turning against him. He thinks Deb is behind it and says there’s been a steady drip of poison from her camp.”

In his view “It’s not just Nicole” the insider explained, “he’s now convinced Naomi Watts and Russell Crowe are ditching him for Deb too.”

Moreover, the issues are now starting to cause his lady-love to be surrounded by his ‘nightmare’ too and “he’s very protective of her and says it’s incredibly unfair that she’s being frozen out by people who used to happily socialise with her,” they added too.

Throughout this process “he’s asking Deb not to stir the pot,” but this has “spiralled way beyond a normal breakup,” in his view. So “he’s no longer prepared to sit back and take it.”

For those unversed, the biggest reason his ex-wife still continues to have access to Jackman is due to their efforts to sell their luxury West Village apartment that has been sitting on the market since 2022 and has seen a significant drop in price too.

Currently, “selling this place was supposed to be straightforward but it’s turned into a nightmare.”

As it stands prices have been slashed to facilitate this as getting off the market as soon as possible but “there’s a lot of finger-pointing over who’s responsible for the mess they’re in now,” they admit. “When they finalised the divorce it seemed like they were ready to move on – but things are getting heated again.”

Given current circumstances “if they can’t find a way to agree on what to do next, lawyers could yet end up getting involved. Every day that goes by without a sale, they’re losing money.”
