Ex-AFL star Lance “Buddy” Franklin and his model wife Jesinta Franklin have revealed the very unorthodox name of their third child.

The celebrity duo, who already share six-year-old daughter Tallulah and five-year-old son Rocky, welcomed the newest member of the Franklin clan in December last year.

In a post on Jesinta’s Instagram on Monday, she finally revealed the name of their baby boy.

‘Me and my little side kick, Bam,” she said.

“He’s been on every zoom, attended every meeting, every photo shoot and now, every podcast I have done since he was born.

“It can be tricky finding the balance between it all but this guy has made it so easy for us, he doesn’t leave our side and just rolls with the chaos that is our life!”

The post was accompanied by an adorable black and white image of her cradling the baby.

Commenters were mixed on the none traditional baby name, with some questioning whether or not it was real.

“Is his name Bam? Or just a cute nickname,” one commenter wrote.

“It’s his name,” Jesinta replied.

“Why is the name a secret,” another commenter wrote with an eyes rolled emoji.

Others were fast to give praise, including Rebecca Judd, wife of West Coast and Carlton great Chris Judd, who left hands raised and heart emojis below the post.

“Hi Bam’s mum,” Australian comedian Celeste Barber wrote.

“Bam! Love his name,” another commenter said.

Jesinta, a businesswoman who co owns Honey For Life, recently opened up on the downsides of pregnancy ahead of Bam’s birth.
