Dua Lipa shares stage with ‘bestfriend’ as Radical Optimism Tour resumes

Dua Lipa may be making unforgettable memories on her Radical Optimism tour, but one show seems especially close to her heart.

The Levitating hitmaker resumed her tour on September 1 after a month-long break, kicking things off at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.

Joined by her close friend Canadian rapper and singer Mustafa, formerly known as Mustafa the Poet, the duo delivered a powerful rendition of their songs.

In an Instagram post on Thursday, September 4, the Break My Heart singer shared a photo dump from her two-night Toronto stop.

“Toronto has been so sweeeet [birthday cake],” Lipa, who celebrated her 30th birthday on August 29, before resuming her tour the next day, wrote.

She gushed over the experience of sharing the stage with her friend, “+++ I got to sing on stage with my bestfriend @mustafathepoet [crossed finger and white heart emoji] something i’ll carry w me forever…[sic].”

After her August 1 performance at Sunny Hill Festival Park in Pristina, Kosovo, the New Rules singer took a break from the stage to spend quality time with her family and fiancé Callum Turner on a tropical getaway.

Before hitting the road again, the Grammy-winning songstress shared glimpses of her early birthday celebrations, which included her younger sister Rina Lipa, 24, and Mustafa, 29.

Lipa is now set to light up the stage in Chicago, with two scheduled shows taking place on September 5 and 6 at the United Center.
