Tim Tszyu can turn his attention to a showdown with American boxing star Errol Spence Jr after taking care of business with a shut-out win over Albania’s Denis Nurja on Easter Sunday.
Tszyu was content to fight at a steady tempo and he controlled the bout, claiming a unanimous decision victory (100-88 x 3) to take his record to 27-3 (18 KOs).

It wasn’t quite the dominant performance many Australian boxing fans might have been hoping for, but Tszyu did what he had to do to ensure a fight with Spence is his next assignment.
Spence hasn’t fought in more that two years, and victory against the American would be what Tszyu needs to get back on the world stage after three tough losses in recent years.
Earlier, Nelson Asofa-Solomona landed another knockout win in his second boxing fight since walking away from his Melbourne Storm contract.
Asofa-Solomona is aiming to be Australia’s next cross-code boxing star and the Kiwi claimed a stoppage win over Jarrod Wallace in a rematch of their 2023 fight. Watch the savage knockout in the video player above.
