A man has died in a Melbourne suburb overnight, sparking a murder probe.
Police officers were called to reports of an altercation on Whitehorse Rd, Box Hill, at about 1.50am on Thursday.
A man, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
Homicide detectives are now investigating the circumstances of the man’s death.
A crime scene has been established.
