Billie Eilish’s mother Maggie Baird has thanked Justin Bieber for making her daughter’s “dream come true” by bringing her out on stage at Coachella.

The pop star pulled superfan Billie onto the stage at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California on Saturday night and she sat in a chair while Justin sang her his track One Less Lonely Girl as an ode to their first meeting at the festival in 2019.

Now Billie’s mom has shared pictures and video from the festival which showed the singer in floods of tears as she prepared for the big moment and Maggie thanked Justin for showing such “kindness” to her daughter. In a post on Instagram, she wrote: “One of the most touching moments ever.”

She continued, “It sounds crazy, but we watch our children develop these deep deep connections to artists who move them and usually there’s nothing in our power to do.”

“But we buy them records and maybe buy them a ticket to a concert (or a movie of a concert in our case because we couldn’t afford to see an actual concert),” Billie’s mother penned.

“Watching this crazy unimaginable dream come true over many years is so incredible. I’m so grateful to Justin Bieber for the kindness he has shown Billie and to our whole family and to [Justin’s wife] Hailey who makes so many things wonderful and possible,” she further wrote as she expressed gratitude to the Bieber family.

Justin headlined the second weekend of the festival and packed his set with surprises for the crowd, with the Baby star bringing out SZA to for a performance of Snooze, while he also sang with Sexyy Red on Sweet Spot and Big Sean on both As Long As You Love Me and No Pressure.

Additionally, among the highlights of Justin Bieber’s YouTube section, which featured lengthier clips than the previous weekend, was him singing along to a young-aged cover of himself performing Justin Timberlake’s Cry Me A River.
