Jerusalem: Paramedics said at least four people were killed in a shooting attack in Jerusalem after attackers opened fire in a bus at a busy intersection in north Jerusalem.
Fifteen other people were injured, they said, and six were in serious condition. Paramedics arriving at the scene found victims lying on the road and sidewalk near a bus stop, some of them unconscious.
It was not immediately clear who carried out the shooting or what the motive was. Israeli police described the shooters as “terrorists”. It said they had been “neutralised” soon after the shooting began on Monday morning, Jerusalem time, and did not immediately respond to a request for comment on their status.
