Anne Hathaway has finally revealed why she loves working with Australian actors.

The 43-year-old American actress recently appeared on Channel Seven’s Sunrise, where she was asked what she particularly likes about working with Aussies.

To which Anne replied, she loves the laid-back attitude of Australian actors.

“I think playfulness,” she said. “I think Aussie’s are very private about taking it seriously… I think it is very, just, ‘have a great time’, the vibe is that nobody takes themselves seriously.”

The Princess Diaries added that Australian actors work hard, despite their laid-back appearance.

“Secretly, everyone is taking the work seriously,” said Anne.

For those unversed, Anne worked with Australian actor Hugh Jackman in the 2012 movie Les Misérables and Rebel Wilson in The Hustle.

She also shares screen with Patrick Brammall in her recently released film The Devil Wears Prada 2.

Earlier this month, Patrick shared why Sydney Sweeney’s cameo was cut from the Disney sequel.

“When putting a film together, things have got to go… and so Sydney Sweeney went! I never met her, but she was apparently in the opening sequence,” he said on the No Filter podcast.

He went on to explain that Sydney’s role was omitted to improve the movie’s overall narrative flow.

“It is all for creative reasons and time, that sort of stuff. There were a few scenes that I shot that weren’t in the movie,” he said.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 was released in cinemas on May 1.
