Nathan Brown has confirmed his relationship with colleague Kane Cornes is strictly business, revealing they pretend to get on.

The pair clashed recently with Cornes left unhappy after being featured on Brown’s Sunday Footy Show segment Media-Ocre.

Cornes labelled his former Channel Nine colleague “brave or stupid” for including some of his gaffes on the show.

And Brown has confirmed there is no love lost between the pair, who fought in a boxing clash in 2024.

Asked how they get on when working for Sportsbet together, Brown told Triple M Footy: “We pretend and go our separate ways”.

Discussing the Media-Ocre segment, he added: “He said I was very brave … he questioned whether I was stupid or brave.

“I’m not criticising anyone. We have a very light-hearted jab at people, and it’s never nasty, we put ourselves in it.

“There are people in the industry who do get a little bit nasty, but we definitely don’t.”

Brown was then asked if he would like to meet Cornes in the ring once again.

But he dismissed the idea, saying: “I wouldn’t call that brave either”.

Cornes, 43, used to work on the Sunday Footy Show for Channel Nine before switching to Channel 7 in 2024.

Last week he gave up another role as an All-Australian selector after admitting it was a conflict of interest with his job at Sportsbet.
