Sarytogan Graphite has shot the lights out with its final batch of assay results from 17 infill diamond drill holes at its namesake graphite deposit located about 190 kilometres from Karaganda in Central Kazakhstan, completing the company’s 2025 reserves definition drilling program.
All 17 holes intersected significant graphite mineralisation from surface, with standout results including a 50.2m hit going a whopping 34.5% total graphitic carbon (TGC) from surface, including 29.2m at an even more impressive 40.1% TGC from surface, with the hole ending in mineralisation.
Sarytogan Graphite’s metallurgical testwork has achieved flotation concentrates of better than 90% total graphitic carbon.
The latest results underline the excellent results from the first batch of 20 holes announced in October, which include a best result from the second hole of 49.1m at 30.8% TGC from 1m, including 15.4m at 35.6% TGC from 20.6m and also 9.6m at 41.3% TGC from 40.5m which also ended in mineralisation.
The program delivered the final batch of drilling results from the company’s reserves drilling campaign which targeted the central graphite zone to infill the first 25 years of mining identified in the company’s pre-feasibility study (PFS) to a depth of 50m.

The new infill drilling data will support a mineral resource and ore reserve upgrade within the ongoing definitive feasibility study (DFS).
WSP Global consultants are now updating the mineral resource for the central graphite zone to higher confidence categories, which will support the DFS incorporation of a revised mine schedule and updated ore reserve.
The study remains on track for mid-2026 completion, supported by process engineering and cost estimation by global engineering firm Wood.

The results will feed into a planned Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve upgrade as part of the DFS underway.”
