An armed group is still believed to be hiding from police after crashing a stolen car north of Brisbane, however the emergency declaration set up earlier on Sunday has been revoked.
Police were called about 11:14am after the red Mitsubishi Outlander smashed outside a property on Old Caloundra Road in Glenview.
Multiple occupants, including one with a gun, reportedly fled on foot and have been hiding since. However, specialist officers conducting a search of the nearby area later found an abandoned firearm.

A police exclusion zone was set up in the area about 12.55pm, with the public told to stay away and residents urged to remain indoors. The boundaries took in a stretch of the Bruce Highway and edges of Corbould Park near Caloundra.
“Following further enquires, the emergency declaration was revoked just after 3:10pm,” police said in a statement.
“Both the stolen Mitsubishi and the firearm have been seized for forensic testing.”
Glenview is about 90 kilometres north of the Brisbane CBD, and about one hour and 10 minutes by car. It is directly west of Currimundi on the Sunshine Coast.
