Taylor Frankie Paul, internet influencer, has been officially as the lead star of the upcoming season of The Bachelorette.
The 31-year-old rose to fame after starring in TV series the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives along with Jennifer Affleck and Mayci Neeley.
On September 10, Paul appeared on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast, where the host asked her how she feels to be a part of season 22 of the popular series.
He asked Taylor, “You are on Call Her Daddy so we can officially announce that you are this season’s Bachelorette. How are you feeling?”
She opened that the news has not hit her yet, but the feeling is “surreal”. The TikTok star is finding it hard to absorb the news. She still thinks it is a dream.
Taylor told Alex, “I’m just thinking about it, and it’s not real. And it’s not going to be until I think the limo is pulling up, you know? And meeting the people.”
During the chat, she disclosed how her casting in the show started out as a joke three years ago through a TikTok.
“I don’t know if that got their attention … It was mainly a joke to me … Then we had a meeting.”
The mother of three opened, “I still didn’t believe it until i got the invitation, ‘Will you be our Bachelorette?’ Same reaction, shaking, pacing back and forth. There’s no way, no way.”
For the unversed, Paul, 31, shares two children; daughter Indy and son Ocean with ex-husband, Tate Paul.
Meanwhile, she also has a younger son named Ever True, who Taylor welcomed last year with ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen.
