Kate Beckinsale has broken her silence on being ignored by Mark Ruffalo after she was fired by an agent for endorsing a social media post about a ceasefire in Gaza.

Ruffalo posted a promotional video on his Instagram, where he talked about his new film Palestine. In the comment section, Beckinsale bashed him, writing that “it must be so nice not to be fired by your Agent for liking a post about a ceasefire and not supporting the murdering of children.”

The 52-year-old English actress went on to share that she and Ruffalo share the same agent.

Beckinsale reached out to the 58-year-old American actor and film producer after getting fired, but he maintained his silence instead of taking a stand for his fellow actor.

“I guess having a penis in Hollywood really counts for a lot because you’ve not been fired by the same Agent that I had and she sent me a gift the week before so we didn’t have any beef, but I liked a post about a ceasefire and I’ve got fired on the same day as Susan Sarandon was fired, two days after the end of the strike after nine months of none of us being able to work at all,” she claimed, referring to the Screen Actors Guild strike that went from July to November 2023.

It is pertinent to mention that Kate Beckinsale refrained from revealing the name of the agent.
