Howard Stern has recently broken silence on rumours about his dismissal from SiriusXM.

The podcast host cleared the air about a possible new contract at SiriusXM, saying, the satellite radio company and his team have been “talking about how we go forward in the future”.

“They’ve approached me. They’ve sat down with me like they normally do and they’re fantastic… We’ve been talking,” explained Howard.

Addressing rumours, the American broadcaster said that he is “very happy at Sirius”.

Howard also discussed the animosity over the hiring of podcaster Alex Cooper.

“I don’t know Alex Cooper… And if she is young and bubbly, God bless her because I’m the opposite,” added the media personality.

Meanwhile, Howard clarified that there was “zero truth” to speculations about his jealousy for Andy Cohen being promoted at SiriusXM more than him.

“None of this is going on. None of it is true. Zero truth,” stated the 71-year-old.

Howard added, “What pisses me off is now I can’t leave… I’ve been thinking about retiring, now I can’t.”
