Holly Willoughby looks upset as she steps out after health scan backlash

Holly Willoughby appeared visibly upset, as she stepped out in London on Tuesday, following a wave of online backlash over her recent promotion of a private health screening service.

The Golden Girl of TV industry kept a low profile during her solo outing, dressed in an all-black ensemble that reflected her sombre mood. Wearing a fitted black jacket, matching leggings, and a coordinating cap, Holly completed her look with oversized sunglasses that partially concealed her expression through her downcast eyes and pensive demeanor did not go unnoticed.

Despite the stylish outfit, the former This Morning host seemed preoccupied, walking with her head slightly lowered, avoiding eye contact as she moved through the city streets.

Her body language suggested someone deep in thought, possibly affected by the ongoing public reaction to her Instagram post, which promoted A£1,495 private healthcare treatment.

The star recently went for a MRI scan to detect early signs of cancer and other health conditions.

The former Dancing On Ice host said she was seeking ‘some peace of mind,’ as she discussed her experience on Instagram. In the update, Holly was seen posing at the end of the MRI machine, wearing a set of black pyjamas before undergoing the scan.

Despite her precautionary approach, Holly faced criticism from followers, who highlighted the high cost of the treatment. Interestingly, Holly has turned off the comments on the post, which was a paid advertisement.

For context, health tech pioneer Ezra has launched its screening service in the UK.

Holly is reportedly pursuing a solo show, with the help of her producer husband, Dan Baldwin.
