The project lies in the South Gobi Desert, less than 50 kilometres from China’s Shivee Khuren border crossing and close to important Chinese gas infrastructure. The company last month announced a strategic alliance with Beijing-based J-Energy to harness the gas specialist’s technical expertise and regional connections to quickly advance the project should commerciality be proven.
As pump speeds increase, TMK anticipates it will achieve further production gains and could potentially set new monthly gas production records.
While current rates are not yet commercially significant, the consistent output from all seven wells and LF7’s standout performance signals a solid foundation for scaling operations.
