An Australian schoolgirl has been killed at a ski resort in Japan.
Chloe Jeffries, 8, from Gold Coast, died in a snowmobile accident near Hakubu Village, on February 28.
Local police reports suggest that Chloe may have been riding on a snowmobile when she died.
Her family were doing a tour of the Hokujo area of Nagano Prefecture when the snomobile flipped over an embankment, critically injuring Chloe.
She was flown by helicopter to a hospital in Matsumoto in cardiac arrest and later pronounced dead.
