Anna Kournikova has finally shared he name of her fourth child after leaving fans hanging for three months.
The tennis icon and pop star partner Enrique Iglesias revealed their baby news to the world in December with a photo of their newborn lying on a changing table.
The secretive 44-year-old who has been diligent in her attempts to keep her family out of the spotlight in recent years shared on Friday their new baby has been given the name Romeo.
The photo shared on Instagram by Kournikova and Iglesias this week showed Romeo with his three older siblings, sister Mary, 6, and twins Lucy and Nicholas, 8.
The photo was taken on what appeared to be a luxury yacht with a sparkling body of water in the background.
“Lucy+Nicolas+Mary+Romeo,” Kournikova captioned the photo.
Iglesias also shared the image with a caption that included red heart emojis.
“Familia,” he wrote.
It is the first image shared of Romeo since his birth on December 17.
At the time Kournikova wrote: “My Sunshine” alongside Romeo’s birthdate.
The post was seen by her 1.9 million followers who filled the comment section with congratulatory messages.
One posted: “A precious early Christmas present.”
A second wrote: “Omg!!! Am sooo happy for you guys. Congratulations.”
A third commented: “Congratulations Anna and Enrique.”
A few days later, she shared the first portrait of all four of the children, captioning this one “My Sunshines.”
Kournikova retired from professional tennis in 2003, and now keeps much of her family life private.
The Russian ace also spent time modelling and was voted the world’s sexiest woman in 2002, beating the likes of Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez.
She was also recognised as the sexiest female tennis player of all time in 2010.
She failed to win a singles Grand Slam title during her career but came close when she reached the semi-finals of Wimbledon in 1997.
However, a string of injuries – mostly back problems – led to an early retirement when she was only 21 years old.
Kournikova has kept away from the public eye as she settled into family life while partner Iglesias has always been more open to celebrate their family in public.
Kournikova started dating singer-songwriter Enrique Iglesias in 2001 after appearing in his music video for ‘Escape’.
The Latin artist continues to sell out stadiums around the world.
