Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez try to set good precedent for their children even if they are divorced.

The two stars keep their personal problems aside for the sake of their kids.

According to People magazine, a source close to Affleck, the couple has “stayed on friendly terms” and is committed to co-parenting their children.

The source reveals that the children from both Affleck’s previous marriage to Jennifer Garner and Lopez’s previous marriage to Marc Anthony are still close and regularly spend time together. “The kids are still really close,” the source said.

“They have the same groups of friends, they see each other and they talk all the time. They make sure the kids know they get along.”

Affleck and Lopez are focused on raising their children in a supportive environment, and their priority is to ensure the kids feel loved and cared for.

“The most important thing to both of them is raising their kids in a supportive environment, so they plan to stay in each other’s lives,” the source added.

A source close to Lopez praises Affleck’s parenting and notes that she always treated his children with love and care. “She’s a great mom and always gave Ben’s kids the same love,” the source said.

“Even though her contact with Ben is now more sporadic, they make sure the kids can spend time together whenever they want.”

In a recent interview, the Atlas star spoke about navigating difficult times with her twins, Max and Emme.

“I said, ‘I promise you, this is a difficult time, but you’re going to see that I’ll come out the other side stronger and better.’ I promised them that and I did it,” she said.

“And they feel it now. That gives me a great sense of peace in my life.”
