Katie Price faces doubt as she releases emotional song for ‘missing’ husband Lee Andrews

Katie Price has released a song dedicated to her missing husband, Lee Andrews, amid his disappearance.

Her song, which is a cover of the 1988 ballad Get Here originally by Brenda Russell, comes after she decided to step back from the search.

The reality star released the song on Friday, May 22. “I don’t care how you get here / Just get here if you can,” she sang in the chorus.

Other lyrics in the song go, “You can reach me by railway / You can reach me by trailway / You can reach me on an airplane / You can reach me with your mind / You can reach me by caravan / Cross the desert like an Arab man”.

Releasing the song on Instagram, Katie said the lyrics in the ballad are deeply relevant to the situation regarding her missing husband.

In the caption, she wrote, “Missing my husband so much it breaks my heart knowing he is still missing so I did this song quick as words mean so much to the situation”.

Public reaction to the post was divided. Some users shared their doubt about the situation and questioned whether it was real. Comments online included accusations that it could be staged or exaggerated for attention. Others directly suggested it might be a publicity stunt.

Katie has rejected these claims. Earlier in the week, she posted a video insisting the situation is real. She said people who think she is involved in any deception are wrong and that the situation is genuinely distressing for her. She also said she is upset by the level of suspicion directed at her.

On May 21, she said she would stop commenting further while police continue their investigation. She added that she feels overwhelmed by speculation and is now leaving the matter to authorities.

The UK Foreign Office has confirmed it is assisting Lee’s family and is in contact with local authorities involved in the case.

Lee went missing before a scheduled Good Morning Britain interview on May 12, which first raised alarm. Since then, Katie, 48, says she has not spoken to him for more than a week. She reported him missing through official channels, including the British Embassy and authorities in Dubai, where he was last believed to be.
