Fabio Jackson defends Kanye West on social media

Kanye West has been a lightning rod in pop culture for quite some time. However, Fabio Jackson, who impersonated Michael Jackson in the Chicago rapper’s music video Father, seems not to care about the backlash.

As he threw his weight behind Ye, in a post on Instagram, he wrote that the Grammy winner “cannot be controlled”.

“You can’t control him. And you know what’s wrong about all this is that they don’t allow gospel music to be heard. @ye music is mostly about preaching the word of God. Call him what you want, but he doesn’t side with the Devil.”

Taking a dig at other artists, Jackson penned, “While you allow Satanic rituals on stage by other artists.”

However, the Michael Jackson lookalike did not stop there. He also took a swipe at critics for silencing the voices which “call you out”.

“You try to stop the ones that are right about everything, and because they call you out, you point your fingers at the ones who influence the most.”

Strong defence by Fabio comes after he confirmed that he was the one who appeared as Michael Jackson in the hit music video for ‘Father’ by Ye.

“It’s not my project, but I’m happy to say that, yes, I was involved, and yes, that is me. It was amazing. All this was very magical to me because this was my very first involvement in a music video,” he wrote on Instagram.

Unable to hold his excitement, Fabio also raved about Bianca Censori, the director behind Father.

“She was welcoming; she was warm; she was happy, positive,” he gushed about her. “She was giving such great vibes all the time.”

In addition, West’s music video Father marked Censori’s directorial debut.
