Wild footage has captured the moment a woman clung to the bonnet of a moving car, hurling abuse in a horrifying road rage incident on the Gold Coast.

Aspiring para-Olympian Natalie Alice Shaw, 22, was driving her red Audi SUV down a Gold Coast street in July last year when a woman she claims was driving the wrong way almost slammed into her car.

In the footage, obtained exclusively by 9News, the woman is seen on CCTV confronting Ms Shaw as her car is parked in a nearby drive thru.

She is then captured mounting Ms Shaw’s bonnet as her car revs into gear, moving down Olsen Ave.

“Are you going to hit me? Go on,” the unknown woman can be heard saying in the footage.

“Go on c***, go on you stupid dog.”

In 9News’ footage, Ms Shaw recalls swerving in an attempt to get the woman off the front of her car.

“She went flying off the side of the road,” Ms Shaw is heard saying.

“Oh my god.”

In the video, the woman eventually lets go of the vehicle after a last-ditch attempt to grasp onto the window wipers – all while the car is moving up to 60km/h.

“Slow the f*** down c***,” she said.

9News reports Ms Shaw was the one charged over the bizarre affair, receiving a six month driving suspension for dangerous operation of a motor vehicle at Southport Magistrates Court.
