Megan Thee Stallion has opened up about a frightening health scare that forced her to leave the stage mid-performance.

During her Broadway debut in Moulin Rouge! The Musical, the Grammy-winning rapper was rushed to hospital after suddenly feeling unwell.

On Wednesday, Megan shared a heartfelt message for fans via Instagram post. She admitted the experience was a “wake-up call.”

“Last night was a real wake-up call for me,” she wrote in the caption.

Adding, ” I’ve been pushing myself past my limits lately, running on empty, and my body finally said enough. It honestly scared me. I thought I was gonna faint on stage, I really tried to push through my performance but I just couldn’t.”

Megan went on to write, “Hotties I wanna be real with y’all because you mean everything to me and I hate letting yall down.”

“I just need one day to rest, reset, and take care of myself the way I should have been..,” she noted.

Furthermore, Megan Thee Stallion revealed that she’ll be back on stage on Thursday, noting, “stronger, clearer, and ready to give you 100% the way you deserve.”

“Thank you for always riding with me and loving me through everything,” the rapper concluded her message.

Fans and fellow performers flooded the comments section with messages of support and praising Megan’s dedication.
