A Ben Trbojevic error as he tries to put a kick in leads directly to a Roosters counter-attack, Mark Nawaqanitawase and James Tedesco running and offloading as the visitors march into Manly territory. Sam Walker rolls in a dangerous grubber kick just behind the goal posts but Tom Trbojevic does well to win the race to the ball and ground it under pressure.
The Chooks attack again from the dropout and again finish their set with a Walker grubber, but this time Tom Trbojevic – who has been very good tonight – regathers and manages to get out of the in-goal.
But now a one-on-one steal by Connor Watson swings momentum to the Roosters again and this time the Sea Eagles defence breaks, Robert Toia stepping off his right foot and finding a gap for his team’s third try.
