French tennis player Coretin Moutet has slammed Danielle Collins and Tennis Channel after the American cheekily claimed that he’d been flirting with her.

Currently sidelined by a back injury, Collins has been working in the TV booth for this month’s Miami Open.

During a Storytime with Danielle segment, the former Australian Open finalist claimed of Moutet: “I basically said to him, if you’re going to be flirting with me like that, you’re going to have to get a bigger serve.

“Some people think it comes down to height, some people think it comes down to personality, but really what it comes down to is big forehands and big serves.”

Collins, 32, confirmed her split with ex-boyfriend Bryan Kipp when she made an online dating profile last November.

The profile read: “Just wanting to raise my chickens, do home projects, make freshly baked sourdough, be a stay at home dog mum, and hopefully pop out some babies soon.

“If you’re going to lie about your height just leave me the f**k alone. This is a no short kings zone.”

On 180cm Moutet’s height, 177 cm Collins added: “You have to understand that I’m 5ft 10, and for me, right, it’s fair.

“It’s just a preference. Nothing against the short kings. But he was upset about that and messaged me and then unfollowed me.

“He slid back into the DMs last night asking me if I saw his match and all the big serves that he was hitting.”

Moutet, 26, is set to face Jannik Sinner in the round of 32 in Miami.

Ahead of the match, the fiery Frenchman furiously refuted Collins’ claims – while also taking a pop at Tennis Channel.

He wrote on X: “How can I unfollow you when I never followed you @TennisChannel.

“How can you let someone say BS like this on tv? You followed me. You asked me for mixed dubs.

“And I’ve never even followed you.

“You ready to say anything so people talks about you.

“You should learn how to love yourself so you won’t have to do stupid things for people loves.

“@TennisChannel good sport journalist.”

Collins previously claimed that she would be retiring at the end of the 2024 season.

But in October of that year she announced that she would be continuing on tour after all.
