Dulcie North and the project’s southern extension will get their first systematic drilling to date, following the consolidated acquisition of 6km of gold structures at Dulcie.

Metallurgical tests at Dulcie have added promise to the project’s mining credentials, returning up to 97 per cent gold recoveries from low reagent use and straightforward processing.

The company says it has set aside a further $3 million to drill its follow-up reverse circulation program at Red Mountain. Zenith will drill 10 to 15 holes into its IRGS target before the end of the year.

Red Mountain has been all the buzz lately, as the Queensland IRGS play delivered 139.7m at 1.05 g/t gold, pointing at a potential Mt Wright-style multi-million ounce discovery. Assays remain pending.

With WA’s gold market white-hot, Dulcie’s 302,000-ounce base and up to 800,000-ounce gold target lay the groundwork for a potential million-ounce monster for the company just 25km from the Marvel Loch processing plant. And assays are still coming for a second potentially million-ounce project at Red Mountain.
